My toilet has this little faucet on top. To save water, you can rinse your hands with this stream of water. The water then goes into the toilet and is used for the next flush. Mi inodoro tiene esta llave pequeña en la parte superior. Para ahorrar agua, se puede juagar las manos con esta corriente de agua. De esta manera se recicla el agua. Ahh, con tu familia? Se murió un niño en el zoológico?!! Leave a comment Posted in Uncategorized. Everything was perfect, from the Magic Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis to the bike ride in the village, amongst the wild monkeys.

The cooking lessons were fantastic too, full of flavors and friendship. We loved sharing meals with Kazy and his wife. The house is really really nice, very old and traditional, all in wood, decorated with taste and located in a peaceful village. Kazy and his wife are more than great persons, always caring for us, kind and helpful. We really would like to meet them again to enjoy other good moments with them. We are very happy that in only two nights, we felt like we knew them from long time.

It was a fantastic experience! Thanks for these nice memories that we will keep in our minds and hearts! This was an unforgettable experience! We had a great stay with Kaze and his family! They are so welcoming and made us the best food we have eaten in Japan so far!

I highly recommend requesting them to cook for you. Kaze is a soba noodle chef so he showed us how to make it and even gave us a shot at it! We ate it afterwards with dinner. They are such fun and interesting people and speak very good english.

Their year old house consists of many beautiful Japanese antique pieces of furniture. Not to mention the countryside and Umenoki area is magnificent!

Kaze's homestay makes for a perfect relaxing forest escape. A wonderful place and really nice people, a highly recommend place. My little son and I had a great time! The hosts at this beautiful, traditional bnb nestled in the hills outside Kyoto were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I was treated like a friend, not a customer, and every comfort was offered, including a hot water bottle for the cooler nights it was well-heated tooand a pot of tea produced regularly. Staying at an airbnb where you share with the hosts is a great way to learn about Japanese culture and traditions and Kazy and his family were generous in sharing their lifestyle. He is a talented chef and for groups he will provide dinner and Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis very reasonably.

This makes for a totally indulgent stay. I was picked up at the bus stop and was lucky to have his son on the bus help me, too. If you need a restful break from the hustle Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis bustle of Kyoto and the other tourist spots, come to this fabulous bnb. I borrowed a bike from Kazy and cycled along a forest track for 1 hour without passing a car. I was lucky, too, to Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis monkeys over the fence in the forest!

The scenery is spectacular and it is so peaceful. Kazy speaks excellent English and is keen to learn more. Be aware there are no shops near here, so bring food or organise meals from Kazy.

I loved this place and will tell my friends they must come here. This was a wonderful experience for our family 2 adults and 2 small children and a highlight of our trip to japan! The year old farmhouse, garden and surrounding natural scenery are beautiful - we particularly enjoyed sitting on the verandah in the afternoon sun watching the autumn leaves fall while sipping warm tea, and also walking along the river.

A truly relaxing experience after visiting Tokyo. Kazy and Rumi were kind and thoughtful hosts - they taught us how to make rice cakes in the traditional way, and also shared lots of tips and knowledge of the local area. We ate Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis meals in, and they were generous and accommodating with our sometimes wild and noisy children!

They also picked us up and dropped us off at the train station which made the trip easy. We would love to return Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis one day! Kuta is a serene village and Kazy's accommodation is a true gem. Kazy and Rumi are welcoming and attentive hosts and visiting them would be great idea if you are visiting Kyoto.

Although the village is remote, a Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis train from Kyoto station to Katata and an arranged shuttle service with Kazy will make easy steps to reach a sublime experience that will open your eyes and fill you with awe to the beauty that is the Japanese countryside.

The accommodation has the best view in the year old Samurai house. A feeling of great Japanese authenticity and comfort as we relax in the room with textured Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis mats and clear shoji doors that reveal the scenic and tranquil view that is Kazy's garden. Also, for some fresh air and near the comfort of your room, relax in the much loved 'Engawa' a sort of traditional Japanese balcony. It was much needed time for me and my partner as we had just indulged in the culture and nightlife of the great Tokyo metropolis.

Kazy offers many activities to help you enhance your stay, Biking and snow hiking will allow you to explore the scenes in and around Kuta during the summer Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis winter. Kazy is a skilled and passionate individual that loves his craft, making mochi with him and his family, foraging for wild ingredients for tempura, making sushi, watching him tend his land and even getting a Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis at him making soba in the morning are memories that I will cherish forever.

One of my favourite experiences during our stay is when we opted for the traditional Tea Ceremony experience by the river. A beautiful and cultural experience with a spirited back drop. Although it was a windy day and the portable burner was stressing to heat up the water, me and Kazy created a human shield to keep it alight and it took a few minutes for the water to come to heat, but, this created a intimate moment where us and Kazy got to know each other more and we realised even more just how passionate and knowledgable Kazy is.

Kazy and Rumi also let us cook with them and we were able to eat together along with 2 other of their family friends. A warming and personal way to stay with Kazy and his wife, and a honour it was. Having a experience like this is wonderful and spirit building addition to exploring Japan. Hehe, before my review turns into a memoir on my unforgettable experience with Kazy and his family and friends.

I should rap this up. I highly recommend staying with Kazy and Rumi. It will be great pleasure and experience for you and a great way to contribute to the Japanese country way of living, as Kazy is a passionate individual that is trying to revitalise the Japanese country living by educating foreign visitors and the Japanese people young and older to protect nature, its inhabitants and the natural landscape of Japan Good for the soul, good for the soul, good for the tastebuds - staying with Kazy and Rumi was one of the highlights of our many trips to Japan and one we will always remember.

When you go, make sure you do ALL the experiences. Every one was delightful and the knowledge and skill that Kazy and Rumi brought to them was stunning. We hadn't planned on doing the soba experience but it's a must. Kazy has 10 years experience and it's just stunning to watch the process Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis close.

Even better to eat it 15 minutes later with tempura made of vegetables picked fresh from their garden. Hands down the best soba we've had in Japan. The koke moss ball or moss garden making experience was wonderful too, especially since we'd collected the moss ourselves on a walk with Kazy that morning. And the mochi making! We were big mochi fans but this was something else. Fresh from pounding in the big pestle outside, it was better than the mochi from the legendary Kyoto mochi restaurant Demachi Futaba.

All we can say is go, go, go to this Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis place and spend time with these wonderful people. This is a great place.

John actually picked me up and took me to the train station near his house. He quickly responds to any questions or concerns. If you are looking for a place near Kyoto and worried about the distance, it is only half and hour from here via train. I would recommend anyone wanting to visit Kyoto and surrounding areas to stay here.

It is a nice relaxing area away from the city lights! They gave me some tips for the rest of my Japan trip which really helped on deciding my next place to stop. If you have a chance Book with John and his family! John and Rika are so friendly and welcoming, and I felt so comfortable at their place. I hope to visit again someday! If you want to enjoy bit of local life, we would def recommend staying at John and Rika's place at the bottom of Mt Horai.

Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis

John picked us up from Horai station when we arrived and was willing to drop us and pick us up anytime during our stay alike. Upon our arrival Rika served us a wonderful meal. And so she did the day after, when we sat down with them and their friends.

It felt like staying at your family's house, finding yourself back in your old room. John, Rika, Vincent and Andre are the kind of people that know how to make you feel Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis home.

Only small point of criticism would be the beds. If you're not used to futons the beds are quite hard. So if you have back problems, this is maybe not the best place for you. Other than that it was a great experience. John and Riko were outstanding hosts and very generous. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and their willingness to drive us to the station and pick us up. They invited us for an evening meal and gave helpful suggestions for the great sites in the area. We are from Australia so we found the mattresses a bit thin but I think they are typical of Japan.

The house has lovely views and a great feel. There are two quite boisterous little dogs if you like dogs they are very cute. John, his wife and kids and his 3 dogs are an amazing company for anyone looking for a quiet laid back experience in this scenic place.

Enjoy the view from their living room, as John heats up the room with fire from wood-burning stove. John's wife Irica not sure if I spelt it right is a great cook, and very caring. They'll provide you the best tips for local tourism.

And if you like working with wood or working in the garden, You'll have a friend for life in John. Overall - awesome stay! I loved this place. Firstly, Fumie and Harufumi are very friendly, welcoming and interesting to talk to.

Secondly, the guest house is spacious, comfortable and quiet, and you can see mountains and forest from every window. Thirdly, it's on the edge of a beautiful village, consisting mostly of old wooden farmhouses, some of them with thatched roofs, dotted around in a secluded valley.

There are no ugly modern buildings or shops in the village. Fourthly, there is a beautiful old growth forest of beech trees, mainly about 30 minutes away by bicycle, where I walked for hours and didn't see a soul. In short, this is one of the most peaceful, relaxing and lovely places I've been to in Japan and I've lived here for over 30 years. Harufumi and Yumisam were great hosts and we loved everything about the little house in a peaceful valley.

Hospitality was great and we enjoyed the dinner with the hosts, had very engaging conversations and our kids had a good time playing with each other. We would love to stay with them again! As we were not expecting such cold temperatures, the hosts tried to made us feel more at home, giving us a hot water bottle and enough blankets to keep us warm.

The next day, we took a walk with their daughter and pet dog up in the woods and it was lovely time spent exploring the woods. Thank you for having us! It was a really good experience to stay at the Haruya. First the family is almost like your during the time spend with them. Second all the meals are really wonderful and always different, I have discovered new vegetables and it was just wonderful.

Hiking near this place is really cool too, many mountains and a Takashima trail to see several beautiful things water fall, point of view etc It was just a perfect place to breathe talk and see the real nature. Merci beaucoup à la famille Haruya Et à très bientôt. It feels impossible to put words to the magical experience we had at the beautiful home of Harufumi and Yumie and their lovely family.

If you are looking at this listing, all I can say is: This visit will be my favorite Japan experience. The hosts are so generous and engaging and made us feel right at home. The region they live in is stunningly beautiful, and our journey there on train and in a van made us calmer as we got further from the city.

The guest house is large and beautiful, made of cedar and comes with everything you need for relaxing inside or taking off on a trek. We slept comfortably with good bedding and woke to the sound of crickets in the marsh. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking your own lunch and coffee. We hiked into the mountains during the Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis, on a beautiful creekside path right outside the driveway, borrowing the family's cute little dog as hiking companion.

We borrowed bicycles and rode around the villages, watching the rice harvest in action September. There is a quiet woods shrine within walking distance to visit.

It is a good balance of interacting with the nice hosts and having your own quiet time. The vegetarian meals that Yumie makes are delicious: Dinners with Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis family are fun and lively, the parents speak great English and the kids are fun to interact with.

The garden is beautiful and the hammock gazebo is worth a visit. We completely recommend staying at this special place. It felt unreal, like a magic woods paradise. Very nice family in a wonderfull place! Harufumy and Yumie were very kind hosts and prepared us delicious meals for dinners. The guets house is very nice and comfortable: The forest gives so much to discover that you will find lost of things to do.

If you go to this wonderfull place, you will really Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis able to say that you have been in Japan.!! I enjoyed my stay at the house and the area in general a lot! I came for a getaway from the city and to enjoy nature, but that was combined with Harufumi's wonderful family that I celebrated the New Year with. I had a go at making some traditional Japanese food, we played some music together and overall enjoyed it a lot!

The house itself is really nice and clean, can be a bit cold in winter, but that was part of the fun! The area itself is very peaceful and beautiful, probably in all seasons. I will definitely be coming back to visit at some point! Yoriko and her family were incredibly welcoming and kind during our stay, going above and beyond what we would have ever expected. Their house is in a stunning location and Yoriko took the time to show us around to local landmarks, even hiking up a mountain with us!

The food was delicious and most of it came straight from the garden. It was lovely cooking with Yoriko though sometimes a little time consuming game! This was definitely a highlight of our trip, and we would love to visit again! This was one of our best experiences in Japan - amazing house, peaceful village. Yoriko made dinner and breakfast for us and she also showed us around and we took a woodwork workshop.

Definitely recommend if you like to enjoy Japanese rural life. Of course, all amenities are provided for, but to drink from the pure well water and eat locally produced food was a treat.

Instead the father offered to wring the neck of a chicken and cook the meat! Unfortunately I had to refuse. The host and owners' hospitality is excellent. They made sure that our needs are well taken care of and also provided very useful local travelling tips. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a wonderful time during our stay.

There are simply no better choices if you are travelling around the area based on the comfort level and services that this place offers. The house offers all the amenities advertised, and more.

The location of the place is away from the convenience store, but a 10' bike ride will get you there. Also close to the convenience store there is a Yakitori restaurant, very cozy and great staff. Walking 15' will get you to the beach, very nice place to spend the day. The view of the rice fields from the living room is amazing, the sunset is a moment you should see.

The small balcony with the table and small grill is very good to have a night barbecue. Definitely a Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis to go back and spend a weekend, summer and I guess winter too. Warm even during winter. Been lucky to see monkeys, destroying somebody's garden. Hideo and Yukako are wonderful hosts! They really put together a great experience for guests and are happy to provide excellent tours tailored to their visitors and meals which were also Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis real highlight.

Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis

We visited a nearby thatched village which is just lovely, temples, the nearby forest with magnificent huge cedars and a lovely local restaurant for lunch. The house itself is in a really pretty rural location. It is a beautiful place which was the family's home for 7 generations so it is a real insight into Japanese life. Hideo and Yukako are lovely to spend time with, funny, interesting and so willing to share their culture. We loved our time with them and the snow which covered the area on our last morning was such a bonus for this family of Aussies who rarely get to experience Chat amigos en Shiga-ken gratis
